Purpose of Data Retention

Mindomax maintains a policy of responsible data management. Our data retention practices are designed to respect user privacy while ensuring that we retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

Retention During Subscription

As long as a user maintains an active subscription with Mindomax, we retain their data, including flashcards, images, audio, and other related content. This retention supports uninterrupted access to our services and enables users to benefit fully from our platform.

Retention After Unsubscription

Upon cancellation of a subscription, user data will be retained for a period of 6 months. This period allows users to reactivate their subscription without losing their data. Certain data, such as unused flashcard boxes, may be removed earlier at our discretion.

Inactivity and Data Deletion

If a user does not log in or reactivate their token within 6 months following subscription cancellation, we will proceed to delete all their personal data. Users are encouraged to maintain active engagement with their account to prevent data loss.

Cloud-Stored Data

User-uploaded images and audio are stored in the cloud and are subject to the same retention policies as other data types. These items will be retained during the subscription and for 6 months post-unsubscription unless specified otherwise.

Changes to Our Data Retention Policy

We may update our Data Retention policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to our users. We encourage users to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting the data entrusted to us.
