End User Licence Agreement

This licence covers the Mindomax apps for iPhone, iPad, Android and Mac and the Mindomax browser extension. The provider is Mindomax, Hannover area, Germany. Our Terms of Use apply alongside this licence.
What this licence is
By installing or using a Mindomax app you accept this licence. If you do not accept it, please do not install the app.
What you may do
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app for as long as you keep to this agreement. Mindomax is currently free of charge. Premium can currently be activated for free and is then valid until the end of 2027. This offer may change, and we will only ever charge you with your prior agreement.
- Install and use the app on devices you own or control
- Use it for your own learning, at home, at school or at work
What you may not do
The licence does not allow you to:
- sell, rent, sublicense or pass on the app
- copy, modify or reverse engineer it, except where the law expressly allows it
- remove copyright or trademark notices
- get around the app's limits or its security
Who owns what
The app itself, and everything in it that we made, stays ours. What you create with it stays yours, as set out in our Terms of Use.
Updates
We release updates through the app stores. Some updates are needed to keep the app working with our servers, so please install them; older versions can stop working.
Apps from the App Store and Google Play
If you installed the app from Apple's App Store or from Google Play, that store's own terms apply as well. Apple and Google are not parties to this licence, are not responsible for the app and do not provide support for it — we do.
No warranty
Mindomax is provided as it is, without a promise that it is free of faults or fit for a particular purpose. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Liability
The limits of liability in our Terms of Use apply to this licence as well.
How long the licence lasts
The licence lasts until you delete the app or your account. It ends immediately if you seriously breach this agreement; if that happens, please delete the app.
Applicable law
German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules in the country you live in are unaffected.
